Manitoba has introduced an “Expression of Interest” model for a portion of its Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). Now under this program, high-ranking candidates are entitled to apply directly to CIC through the MPNP. First, they must Qualify for the express entry program, and then, if they have high points, and they intend to live in Manitoba, they could be processed by the Manitoba PNP. If successful, they could be nominated for Canadian permanent residence by Manitoba.
The MPNP nominee program is a fast, flexible program that ranks applicants by using a point system, age, education, experience, training and language skills. If you already have a job offer from an employer in Manitoba, your chances for selection increase.
MPNP under the Expression of Interest System has conducted two or possibly more draws till now. At the time of this video production, the following draws were complete: The first draw occurred on May 20th and 76 Invitations were issued. The second draw occurred on May 30th with 75 invitations issued with 607 as the lowest ranking points. On June 5th there was a Manitoba PNP where 126 invitations were sent to Manitoba residents (min 675 points) and 202 invitations were sent to international skilled workers who had scored a minimum of 588 points.
Under the Federal Skilled Worker Program, You should have minimum language level of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 along with full-time and paid work experience in a skilled occupation at National Occupational Classification skill type 0, A or B.
