As of September 7, 2021, Canada will allow travellers from other countries who are fully vaccinated from the pandemic to enter the country for non-essential reasons.
This decision is based on the latest scientific evidence and situation in Canada and internationally. While cases are rising in Canada, the majority are among unvaccinated individuals. Caseloads are manageable, and Canada’s vaccination rates continue to rise. Public health measures instituted and adhered to by Canadians and those entering the country means that Canada is better able to prevent infections among people and allow for more travellers.
Travellers need to be fully vaccinated with an approved vaccine, have a valid test, and show no symptoms of illness.
Direct flights from India and Morocco are currently suspended until at least the latter part of September.
Travellers should check current Canadian regulations before arranging to travel to Canada.
