The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program invites immigration applicants based on Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada numbers. Alberta also has its own criteria for nominating applicants including the current labour market, date of application, number of applicants, and quality of the application itself.
The number of applicants being nominated through the AINP in 2021 has not been given yet. The higher the score, the better your chances are of being nominated.
Alberta is nominating applicants from the Alberta Opportunity Stream and the Alberta Express Entry Stream.
The AINP is not currently accepting applications from the Employer-Driven Stream or Strategic Recruitment Stream.
Applicants under the Self-Employed Farmer Stream can expect to work closely with the AINP and Alberta Agriculture and Forestry for immigration assessment.
Alberta provincial nomination can lead to Permanent Residence in Canada.
